Saturday Exploring: Audubon Nature Trails

A few weekends ago, Matt and I took the crew for a family walk through Audubon's Walton Woods nature trails. You might have caught some of it on my IG was gorgeously fall!

It was evening, so we were racing daylight and since it was overcast, the leaves were not as gorgeously lit up as they could have been...but it's still a beautiful sight to see!

Here are some of my favorites from our little hike...

This one is a little out of focus, but I had to included it anyway because, oh my gosh...
Jake's little pointing finger. I can just "hear" him talking-talking-talking about every
little thing he sees and explaining it to's so Jake!

Boo emerald ash borers and your beautiful destruction!

It was so gorgeous out there in the woods, and Galli had so much enthusiasm to just be out there with us. We had so much fun going off the beaten path a few times and letting the boys lead. I often feel very lucky that we have so much natural beauty surrounding us here in WNY!

  1. This is so beautiful! The colours of autumn have always been so tranquil to look at. It's nice to see someone appreciating nature's beauty every now and then. It's always worth a visit, and a hike!
