Dressing Up the Sinks for Spring!

I can hardly believe it, but spring is starting to show evidence that it may come to the Buffalo area after all! I had some serious doubts. With sunshine and above-freezing temps comes thoughts of spring cleaning, and step one (for me) is stocking up on all of the cleaning supplies needed to love on our home after months of intense use. Things always on my list? New dish sponges, antibacterial wipes, foaming hand wash, bleach, fresh mops, furniture polish, and surface cleaner.

Dress up your sinks for spring! #foamsensations #ad

A few days ago, we stopped at Walmart to pick up a few spring cleaning things, and I found Softsoap's Liquid Foaming Hand Wash in three really great scents - Kitchen Citrus Bliss, Jasmine and White Cotton, and Whipped Cocoa Butter. Because of their super-affordable price tag, I took home all three! I like to keep a stock of hand soap in our linen closet because with three little boys, we go through it pretty quickly.

The boys are all really good about washing their hands - both because their preschool teaches them the cutest, most effective hand washing song ever (which they love to sing to us), and because foaming hand soap is, well, really fun! You get a handful of bubbles! That's speaking a kids' love language. And of course, my favorite soap is the affordable kind. ;)

So thinking of the boys, and the little update I made to their bathroom recently, I decided to give them the Jasmine and White cotton soap - blue is the theme, after all! Naturally, it fits in perfectly.

Can I just say that I'm so happy I showed this room a little love? It was such an eye sore in our home, and now I walk in there and see it all pulled together, and it just makes me smile.

The Kitchen Citrus Bliss found its new home on my kitchen counter, naturally. It's so fresh and clean, and it brings in a little spring (which we desperately need around here right now!) My sink area is still one of my favorite places in our home. I can't wait for our gardens to start growing again so I can snip some herbs and buds to fill in little vases around it. I had so much fun doing that last summer! (My heart beats for growy things!)

That left Whipped Cocoa Butter for my bathroom. There's also something ultra-smooth and soft about this soap that I'm pretty crazy about.

One thing to check off the spring cleaning list already! And look at that - it's not even technically spring yet. Overachieving, over here! ;)

I need to get to work on the rest of my check list! What's on your cleaning list this spring?

  1. My kids love washing their hands especially to use the foaming soaps, too! So smart! #client
