Spring at The Crooked Apple

A couple weeks ago, I introduced you to the outdoor part of our home, which we call The Crooked Apple. As the weather has warmed up and summer nears, we've been spending a lot of time out there, and it's been so great to see Spring come alive on our homestead! Everything you see here is a little young and rough around the edges (these pictures were actually taken a couple weeks ago) - I can't wait to show you how it's all grown in since then!

I snapped these photos with my iphone, so they aren't stellar (I promise to stop being lazy and pull out my big girl camera next time, haha!) but I'm still going to let the photos do most of the talking, here. I think nature's voice needs to be heard as is, anyways ;)

Bleeding Hearts.

Gross slash really cool.

Forsythia turning green.

Lilac Buds (my favorite!).

Baby Apple Blossoms.

The first of our garden plants.

Parsley root from the herb garden.

These pictures have me SO excited for everything to come this summer! Is it just me, or do you get this excited about growy-things, too? ;)
