Fall Music Favorites

You've heard enough about Fall and PSL's to last the rest of your life by now, right? It happens every year. It's like political campaigns, the holiday shopping season, telemarketing calls while you're eating dinner - prepare to be annoyed, the pumpkins are coming! But one thing I haven't noticed people talking enough about is the music that makes them FEEL Fall.

I can't be alone here, right? Just like every summer has a "song", and there are a few select Christmas carols that just instantly make you feel like you're next to your tree in a snuggie with cup of cocoa, even if you're really in a crowded shopping mall. I have the same kind of devotion to fall music, and most of these became "fall music" because they were released in the fall and I played them on repeat until the snow started falling. There's even one particular song that became a fall song simply because I was driving down an orange-and-yellow leaf crowded road with the windows rolled down, the sun and crisp breeze flying in through them, and it happened to be blasting through my mini van for the experience. You've been there, right? So here it is. These are the albums that put me in the perfect Fall mood, as well as some of the specific songs that just do it for me more than the others. Enjoy!

 1. Sam's Town by The Killers

 2. Sticks & Stones by Cher Lloyd

 3. First Impressions of Earth
 by The Strokes

 4. Alright, Still by Lily Allen

 5. The Twilight Saga: New Moon

 6. Some Nights by Fun.

 7. El Camino by The Black Keys

 8. Room on Fire by The Strokes

 9. Future Sex/Love Sounds
 by Justin Timberlake

 10. The Resistance by Muse

I could easily live on a deserted island with those ten albums and never feel a void in my life!

Now here are the songs the just make me feel like I'm living & breathing Fall!

5. When You Were Young by The Killers

4. 12:51 by The Strokes

3. Beating Heart Baby by Head Automica

2. All Alright by Fun.

1. My List by The Killers
Also one of my very favorite songs of all time!

So how about you? What makes your fall music list? Do any of mine make yours?
I'd love to hear what you think!

And remember.......
