Hey, lovely face.

In this time of the aging blogging community, I'm happy you've stopped by. My brain hasn't caught onto the way of things and is still trying to spew words and thoughts and posts on the regular, so enrychment lives on.

I'm Jenn Rych - owner of this wild brain, taking up all kinds of space online.

I'm a mom of 3 boys, 1 dog, and 2 cats. We live our days pretty humbly in Western New York, and I'm in hot pursuit of the very best kind of life.

I'm still trying to figure out how to do that, and learn exactly what that means to me...but I read a whole lot of books, spend lots of time journaling, and writing, and telling my friends about everything I find, and documenting the things that make me feel like saying YES.

I believe in little pieces, flawed and gorgeous love, and always harnessing the beauty in a single given day.

Just last year, I was in a rut. A big, deep, ugly rut - full of negative, exhausting and costly life circumstances. I let them drag me into a depression, and despite knowing what I "should" do, I was so low-vibe that I found it hard to even do the first right thing.

I struggled, I grasped at any proverbial life raft I could find, and slowly but surely - I inched my way to shore.

But it was hard, time consuming, and fullllll of setbacks. This blog is now my account of how I continue to work onward and upward, and value all the little bits of what I have.

Enrychment is a little bit hard work, a little bit hygge, a little bit wild.

It's flowers, books, photos and coffee. It's Matilda Jane. It's studying, meditating, creating.

And me?

I'm your typical 30-something mom who's pretty sure she's still 19, obsessed with nail polish, pretty bookmarks, assigning witty or beautiful names to things that don't at all need a name, paint-by-number kits, podcasts, lilac dish soap, and Trader Joe's dark chocolate peanut butter cups.

I look up to Walt Disney, Gretchen Rubin, Danielle LaPorte, my yoga instructor, and my son's school librarian. Much of what I share here comes from their inspirational influences in my life, and I am so very grateful for all of them.

If you'd like things popped right into your inbox to make it super-simple, sign up for my newsletter, here.

Otherwise, keep in touch and follow my posts for self help book reviews, happiness challenges and practices, and a little bit on clothes, because....

I love new clothes. If everyone could just wear new clothes every day I reckon depression wouldn't exist anymore. -Sophie Kinsella, Confessions of a Shopaholic
