Matilda Jane Gift Guide!

Christmas has officially arrived at my house! It's okay if hasn't at yours - we can still be friends. I'll keep my Christmas music turned down low for a couple more weeks. ;)

With November and Christmas decorating comes shopping, which usually turns into a full-week event for me. Starting on Monday (so, in 1 week!) the deals start to hit websites, and I start ordering and keeping lists of what I've gotten and who I still need to shop for. And it doesn't stop until mid-December! Sometimes it's so hard to pick a gift for a person or two on my list, so I thought I'd share a few gift guides here over the next few weeks with some ideas I've bumped into along the way!

Matilda Jane Holiday Gift Guide! 11 Beautiful Gift Ideas | www.enrychment.com

Today? I'm sharing one of my favorite things....Matilda Jane!

MJC is not just for making closets pretty - there's a lot of gift-giving opportunity here that also supports small business owners (like yours truly...wink wink), and everything MJ offers is unique, beautiful, and well made! So if it's too hard to choose an outfit to gift, here are some of the great giftable ideas I have for you!

Matilda Jane Stockings

1. Stuff a Stocking!
There are four gorgeous choices this season, and you can totally stuff these traditionally (here's a list with lots of ideas!) or use it a little differently! Maybe wrap up a bottle of wine in one of these beauties? Or throw in a baking mix or two with a spatula and an oven mitt? You can do so much with these if you get creative, and then they become a lasting, beautiful keepsake! I have the rose one hanging in my office and I adore it!!

Matilda Jane Ornaments

2. Trim a Tree, Add a Little Something Extra, or gear up for an Ornament Exchange Party!
These shatterproof glass ornaments are SO adorable - their patterns match the stockings and our treeskirt perfectly! The box they come in is a gift in itself! It can, of course, protect these beauties in storage, but can be used for lots of other things, too! This whole set would make a great hostess gift, or you could attach one to a present for a little something extra, or even use them at an ornament exchange party.

Matilda Jane Aprons

3. An Apron For the Baker (or Mini-Baker)
These beautiful aprons match the kitchen towels (below) and tablecloth perfectly, and make a gorgeous accessory for the baker in your life. The kiddos are not left out, either! The mini baker you know can get in on it, too! Even better? Get a Mommy & Me set (or an Aunt & Niece, or Grandma & Granddaughter!) to gift to a family. This would make a great family gift in a basket with some mixes and kitchen tools!

Matilda Jane Kitchen Towels

4. Something Pretty For the Kitchen
If you know someone with a deep love for all things kitchen (my MIL is one of them!), grab them a set of these beautiful kitchen towels! They are a really nice weight and quality set, with a little extra interest! I LOVE these...one of my favorite little extras from this season.

Matilda Jane stationery

5. Happy Mail Supplies
Do you know someone who loves to send little notes in the mail? This set is perfect. It comes with a pad of paper in beautiful patterns from our spring season, and when you're finished writing your note, it folds up and seals into its own envelope! The set also comes with a 5-pack of pens in coordinating patterns, so all you need is a book of stamps and you've got a great little gift! This is another good hostess idea!!

Matilda Jane pennant banners

6. Dress Up a Room
These little banners are SO pretty, and perfect for a little girl's room, an office, a playroom, or even as party decor. I have one of these myself and I LOVE it! It's well-made, double sided, and the patterns are so sweet! The one on the left has our summery May & June patterns, and the one on the right has our early spring baby shower inspired patterns.

Matilda Jane Lunchboxes

7. Make Lunch Pretty
We still have two pretty little lunch boxes listed from early on this season, and they are the cutest little gifts for the little girl in your life! There's matching backpacks, too, but I tried to keep this gifting guide on the less-expensive side. ;)  (Left one, Right one)

MJC Wrap Me Up Blanket Promo

8. Give the Gift of Cozy
Our promo this month is for the coziest, cuddliest, prettiest blanket ever! If you shop for your own closet, or even a collection of gifts that add up to $175, you can get this blanket for only $25! You'll want to keep it for yourself, but if you know someone who would love it or you don't need one yourself, this would make an amazing gift!

Matilda Jane headbands

9. Wrap It Up
We have a few different headbands right now that are open-ended and tie like a ribbon would. These would be such a cute way to dress up a gift with something that can be re-purposed and used over and over again! The So Very Merry Bow (in the middle) is perfect for matching Christmas wrapping!

MJC sandy pants

10. The Gift of Good Pants
Okay, one clothing item in here, because it's TOO GOOD. Everyone woman in your life needs a pair of Sandy Pants! They are MJ's leggings, but they are a good, quality legging that isn't at all see through (they pass the squat test!), and come in a variety of colors each season. Right now, we have black, blue, and grey with glitter! I have them all (as well as in green and grey from previous seasons) and I love them all! They run slightly on the small size (but not badly.) You can order your recipients typical size, unless they are sort of on the fence...get the bigger size. (I wear a Small in MJ and usually get a Medium in the Sandys.)

Matilda Jane floral messenger bag

11. The Prettiest Bag There Ever Was
I get SO many compliments on this bag every time I take it out! This is a perfect gift for a student or professional - or just anyone that appreciates a good bag! I usually pack it up with all of my PTA necessities for meetings and events. There's lots of pockets inside, and it's super-roomy. The outer fabric is great for easy wiping down, too!
