Apple Picking 2017

One of our annual traditions is to take the boys apple picking over the first or second weekend in September. Many times, it's pretty warm out still, but others it's chilly and feels like the perfect kick off to fall. It was actually VERY fall-ish this day, but it was beautiful, sunny, and the picking was amazing!

^proof that I was there, haha

When we were finished picking, we grabbed a gallon of cider and then went to play on their bounce houses. The picking was so quick that we had plenty of time to let the boys play, and they had SO much fun. It made me so happy to see how much fun they were having together. I mean....look at this:

How stinking cute are they?? Love them!

We picked a whole bushel, so the apple nachos, apples dipped in caramel, and apple crisp have been a-plenty! I made (gluten free) apple crunch muffins for our brunch yesterday...soooo yum!

Here's some apple picking posts from previous years...it's crazy to see how they've grown!
