Current Music
Ariana Grande's Dangerous Woman album. I went to her concert a few weeks ago and it was SO GOOD. Girl's talent is UNREAL. I love almost all of the album, but Everyday is my fav, and the video is amazing...makes me laugh and also want to fist pump for equality.

Current Focuses
-Wheat Belly Diet + Gluten Free living
-Getting out of the winter blues/cabin fever fog

Current Random Happenings
-The other day, while making my afternoon pot of coffee, I accidentally smashed the carafe on the granite and it shattered everywhere, also shattering my heart. It was total caffeine blue balls in that moment, but also devastating that my faithful coffee pot of years and years was gone. In an interesting stroke of luck, Matt brought his snow-bunny parent's coffee maker home that afternoon so we can borrow until we figure out what to buy next (and honestly, we could get away with this situation until May while they're gone, so...life goes on.)

-The boys all got long overdue haircuts on Tuesday evening, and they are SO HANDSOME I can't even get over it. I just stare at them and kiss their cute little cheeks and tell them how cute they are....they're getting sick of it. They're also all confused constantly because I all temporarily nicknamed them "haircut" and they never know who I'm referring to.

Current Guilty Pleasure
Dark chocolate. I bought some organic 70%+ cocoa bars (some with almonds in them, yumm) and I snap off a couple squares with my afternoon coffee.

Current Celebrity Crush
You guys, this is never going to change - be prepared to be bored with this question every month. I mean, I don't know...maybe I'll watch a movie or something that temporarily hooks me, but these two will never fade:

I will try to keep it interesting with different pictures. UMMMM do you think I have a type? They legit could be brothers. BTW, Henry Cavill was my boo long before he was Superman. He was in the Tudors and uh, got busy pretty often on that show so I've seen his butt and it's GOOD. Thomas Beaudoin, however, is still pretty unknown and when everyone starts drooling over him mark my words, it was my boat he floated first. ;)

Current Nail Color
Lately it's been black. At first I told everyone it was reflecting the color of my soul (F you, February) but then I remembered how freaking chic it looks with almost every single outfit and I felt good in it. But I've been switching it up a little, too. Right now I'm wearing Essie's Now & Zen with the gel top coat. My right thumb came out with bubbles in the top coat and it's driving me bonkers so we'll see how long it lasts. Still waiting on Essie's Spring 17 to hit my Target so I can get my seasonal new bottle before vacay. I love literally all of them so I have no idea what I'll pick and probably end up spending $30 on freaking nail polish.

Current Outfit
Literally current is last night's yoga leftovers. I slept in it and the boys had a half day today so I'm being lazy AF. It's seriously all Matilda Jane. Birch Bark Rider Pants, Layered Up Tank, Marvelous Marlved Vee. But in general? It's dark skinny jeans, cuffed at the ankle, ankle booties, and then some sort of flowy pretty top, or a tank and an oversized cardi.

Current Slang
Legit.

Current Drink
Coffee coffee coffee. Since I quit the naughty sugary creamers, I've started enjoying medium roasts best. I actually got one of every medium roast that Starbucks carries at Target yesterday and I'm working through them (I will report back on my V important research.) My Starbucks order is a Grande Pike Place triple half and half.

Current Food
Eggs, Avocados, Walnuts, Trader Joe's Unexpected Cheddar, Cauliflower, Bananas, Peanut Butter. That's basically my every single day menu right thurr.

Current TV Show
New Girl, It's Always Sunny, Once Upon a Time & re-watching Gilmore Girls for the 3rd time.

Current App
Starbucks, Netflix, Instagram, Fairway Solitaire

Current Pastime
Books, Crochet, Paint by number kits while listening to podcasts. I'm finishing up book #19 of 2017 (woot), I've added 3 rows of granny squares to my current afghan, and I'm making wild progress on my cabin-in-the-woods-in-winter painting.

Current Wish List
This Sign (mostly to validate my inability to be anywhere without having been 5-10 mins late)
This Chakra Bracelet
This Shirt
This Welcome Mat
This Bracelet
(PS I WOULD ALSO LIKE ALL OF ETSY PLS.)

Current Needs
SPRING. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, SPRING.

Current Bane of My Existence
Matilda Jane.

Current Quote

"What am I in the eyes of most people - a nonentity, an eccentric, or an unpleasant person - somebody who has no position in society and will never have, in short, the lowest of the low. All right, then - even if that were absolutely true, then I should like to show by my work what such an eccentric, such a nobody, has in his heart." - Vincent Van Gogh

Current Picture
This one, because it's purdy, and the memory of witnessing the size and scope of things there is pretty cool (and I'm grateful to have taken my boys here):

And this one, because it makes me laugh remembering when I told Matt that the two of them look like they are doing a model portfolio shoot, with their distant, pensive expressions, and also because I find my husband daaaaaaaaaang sexy in it:

Current Blessing
First, my husband, because he is (mostly) amazing and the way he pursues my happiness on my behalf is kind of amazing. He drives me nuts at least once a day, but he finds me loveable even when I do not, so...I'm wildly blessed.

And secondly, the kids' school. We had their parent teacher conferences last night, and we both nearly walked out of there in tears of happiness. In fact, we drove to rite aid and bought them candy to reward them for what good reviews they received. We KNOW that their success and happiness in school has A LOT to do with their teachers (we have been SO blessed in the teacher department) and the atmosphere of their school, and we never ever forget to be grateful for it. Their teachers see the same things in our kids that we do and they invest special effort in helping them develop, and I can't tell you how much that fills my heart.

Current Excitement
Florida! It's super soon, and oh my gahhhhh sunshine and palm trees and WARM! All the warm.

Current Mood
Hopeful
