Introducing: Enrychment

Happy New Year!

I hope your holiday celebrations have been wonderful! This felt like a really odd holiday season to me - I'm thinking it's the bizarre, backwards weather we've had. As sad as I am to say goodbye to Christmas, I almost feel like it didn't happen or something (so strange), so I'm ready to step into a new kind of celebrating.

I've been sort of working on some things personally over the last 6 months, and I just recently made the decision to organize it into something. And if you're looking for an outlet to channel some personal development and self care, I'd love for you to come check out the one I've created!

I went back and forth for so long about the best way to do things - to evolve this blog, change it's name, quit this one all together. I finally settled on starting a separate one (still with a punny play on my last name) to organize all of my dream chasing and scary things doing, and keeping this one alive for family updates and domestic types of posts.

My biggest dream for my new blog home is to make it a community of dreamy, supportive, positive, every day warriors. It will be a huge work in progress to get anyone reading it, let alone involved in all I (we) do. So I will send you oodles of happy karma if you will check it out, find something that interests you, and share it with anyone else you know that's aiming for lofty things this year. (Or is looking for some ideas to challenge and love themselves over the next twelve months.)

Each month, I'm focusing on something new - I hope that 2016 is full of well-rounded, self improvement, but each month will concentrate on a specific theme I want to see improvement in. My goals are certainly mine alone, but I know that many of us have a lot of the same drives and needs in life, so there's certainly some overlap!

In January, I'm stereo-typically focusing on health. I've been craving it, but didn't want to set myself up for failure by starting near the holidays. If you're seeking some challenges for health in January, maybe check out my plans? Or if you've already got your ideas set, we can still check in with each other and support one another's efforts each week so we don't give up our resolve too easily?

Whatever you set out to do this year, I will probably touch on it at some point, and I would LOVE it if you'd share your journey with me? :)
