Christmas 2010

On the morning of Christmas Eve, Luke found an old sippy cup and drank from it before we could grab it! It made him sick almost instantly, so we weren't really sure if our Christmas Eve would be able to happen as it usually does. We waited it out a while, and though he was very tired, he started recovering by dinner time. So we decided to give our Christmas Eve parties a shot to see how he'd do.

He was tired and slow-moving for a while, but he did great, and even perked up by the end of the night.

That night, Aunt Mallory & Uncle Tom were staying in our guest room so they could be home from Syracuse to celebrate with all of us. They helped us make sure the house looked perfect for Christmas morning, and then got to share the present opening with us in the morning. Nana and Papa came over early in the morning to be there for Christmas morning, too. After getting to be with Luke for his first Christmas, they didn't want to miss out on the excitement of his second!

For the second year in a row, we had to wake Luke up to join us!!

After gifts, we had my Dad & Diane over for our usual Christmas lunch. We had fondue, snacks, cookies, ham, and other yummy Christmas treats.

We spent the rest of the day at home, just enjoying our new things and being in our new house for its first holiday season. Luke was so fun with the whole thing this year - I'm so excited for next year when he's really getting it, and has a buddy to celebrate with. ;) We hope you all had an awesome Christmas, too!
